スター スキーマ ベンチマーク (SSB, 2009)

スター スキーマ ベンチマークは、TPC-H のテーブルとクエリをだいたい基にしていますが、TPC-Hとは異なり、スター スキーマ レイアウトを使用しています。 データの大部分は巨大なファクトテーブルにあり、複数の小さなディメンションテーブルに囲まれています。 クエリでは、ファクトテーブルを1つ以上のディメンションテーブルと結合し、たとえば MONTH = 'JANUARY' のようなフィルター条件を適用します。

まず、スター スキーマ ベンチマーク リポジトリをチェックアウトし、データ ジェネレーターをコンパイルします:

次に、データを生成します。パラメーター -s はスケールファクターを指定します。たとえば -s 100 では、6億行が生成されます。
